Calrose Rice
Calrose is a medium-grain rice commonly grown in California USA that is being experimental planted in Vietnam.
Once cooked, Calrose rice retains its flavor, is soft and slightly sticky. It can be a alternative to Japonica rice for making sushi or adding to soups and stews.
Camolino or Egyptian rice are types of rice that have the similar characteristic to Calrose rice.
